Getting Married at St Mary’s
At St Mary’s we welcome all enquiries about weddings.

Why get married in Church?
A marriage service is a public declaration of love and commitment to your partner. If you choose to get married in church, there is an added dimension – you are making your vows before God and the minister gives God’s blessing on the marriage.
So can I get married at Drayton  Beauchamp Church?
If you would like to have your wedding at St Mary’s, we will do everything we can to help you.
Here’s how it works:
You have a legal right to marry in the Church of England [Anglican] parish church where you or your fiancé(e) lives.
If you do not live in Drayton Beauchamp, or the other villages in the Benefice [Aston Clinton or Buckland]  you will need to establish a connection with the church. That means one of you:
Even if you cannot demonstrate any of the connections above, we can help you explore whether it is possible for you to get married at St Mary’s Church. Please get in touch with Elizabeth, the Rector.
What will it cost?
For 2012 the fee is £460 which includes the minister, service, banns, organist and administration.
Heating (if you need it), £30
