Funeral
The Church believes that death is the beginning of a new life with God. The clergy are available to visit parishioners who are gravely ill or near death, and to support and comfort the bereaved. If you want to have a funeral service at St Mary’s, it is the usual practice to make inital arrangements through the undertakers. If you wish to have a burial in the churchyard, you must either live or die in the geographical parish, or have a link with the Church. For further information, please see one of the clergy.
